Hi, I’m Marcie!

I’m the heart behind Sweet Orchid Photography — a self-taught photographer, storyteller, and lifelong book lover. At 33, I’ve found my greatest passion in capturing life’s fleeting moments and turning them into timeless memories.

Photography is so much more than a hobby or even a career for me — it’s where my love for people, stories, and emotion all come together. I specialize in candid, authentic moments — the laughter, the love, the in-betweens — that reflect who you truly are. Every session is unique, and my goal is always to create images that feel genuine, personal, and unforgettable.

I was born and raised in beautiful Central Wisconsin, where I still call home. Outside of photography, my world revolves around my wonderful little boy, Maverick, and our two high-energy pups, Meadow and Zayda. I’m also lucky enough to be married to my best friend and biggest supporter, Jake, who encourages me every step of the way.
